MISSION IMPOSSIBLE? MAYBE NOT FOR GLENN!

Dear Glenn, dear Gents,

I think I have today a very very difficult question
This time, I don´t have the name of the officer but I have some informations that "could" eventually reduce the possibilities of names :-?
The officer (active, not Reserve either Landwehr) was 100% a Goslaer Jäger. I presume he was native or has lived in the city of Göttingen. I don´t really know if he has survived WWI.
Something pretty sure: he first was in the JB10 or in the RJB10 because he was mobilized in the Alpenkorps between December 1915 and April 1916.
Then he has moved to the RJB23 as this unit was part of the Karpathenkorps between February 1916 and October 1917. All those three units were from Goslar and the officer in question fought in both Korps.
Is it possible to select some names with those informations?
I am thinking the list could be quite short :-"

Thank you!

Philippe

Philippe,

You are not giving me a great deal to work on. :o Do you have anything else on your suspect?

Regards
Glenn

Glenn,

Unfortunately not. The only thing I am sure of, is that the officer first was in the Alpenkorps (Edelweiß emblem sewn on his M10 cap) and then in the Karpathenkorps (this special KK emblem between Reichs-and prussian cockade sewn on the same Jäger officer cap too).
The only two prussian Jäger Bataillons which were part of the AK were the JB10 and RJB10, both from Goslar. The guy in question was for sure officer in one of this two unit. I thought it could have make the work easier to know that the guy then fought later in the RJB23 as a part of the KK (the only unit in the KK from Goslar).
My first though was that there could not have been a lot of officers who were both in the AK and KK...and with same garrison of origin : Goslar.

The fact that the guy could have been native or have lived in Göttingen just before the war was only a presumption, because his M10 fieldcap is maker marked at the inside with a manufacture of this city
I think I must admit now, that the possibilities are much higher and the list could be much longer...
