R Robert New member Aug 23, 2008 #1 According to the sign, these soldiers are guarding the entrance to the Oder river in 1916. They carry a nice mixture of felt helmets: black (?), grey with brim, whithout brim, and with matte fittings. I guess these would be Landwehr men?
