Model 1915 grey metal Baden Infantry Helmet. Fittings are all grey metal including the removable spike, 4 studs securing the spike base, rear spine, front visor trim, grey metal side posts and the baden Griffin wappen. Wappen has motto as MIT GOTT F. FUERST U VATERLAND. Wappen is secured to the helmet body via leather edges. No extra holes and the Wappen fits very well on it helmet body.
Stitching to both front and rear visors is good. Size marked as 57 1/8 which is very big size for the then tiny soldiers.
Interior feature a brown leather liner with draw string still attached. All 9 fingers are intact. Soldiers name written on liner.
This helmet has not been messed with evidence by the underneath pics studs and the side posts.
