MODEL 1915 BAVARIAN 1ST & 2ND BAVARIAN RIFLE BATTALION JAGER SHAKO
Bavarian Shako in nice condition. Wartime model. Rare as there were only 2 Jaeger Batl. In the Bavarian Army at the outbreak of the war.
Bavarian Enlisted man shako of 1915. Black leather body with field grey trim. Shako has good form and firm stitching to both front and rear visors. No extra holes. Front plate is that of Bavarian wappen, secured by leather wedges via the reinforced eyelets.. There are 2 vent holes on the body, one on each side. . M91 sideposts are in grey metal.
The liner is of black leather with rounded "tongues" perforated at the ends for a leather string to adjust the fit. All tongues are present with no damaged but the leather liner itself seems to have gone through a period repair. Drawstring is present.
