Voici ma nouvelle trouvaille: un modèle 1867 avec sa plaque "vieux régiments" et son attache spécifique, en assez bon état...inscription sous je jonc de visière JR.Dett1. ??? .coiffe assez souple en assez bon état, traces de marquages intérieurs illisibles. J'aime particulièrement ces casques qui rappellent la guerre franco-prussienne 1870-1871 d'autant que j'habite près des champs de bataille de Gravelotte, Saint-Privat, Mars la Tour...

Very cool helmet, congrats. I would love to see the back side of the wappen. The slide in place system is very similar to 1900 East Asian style. (Does that have an official name?)

I call it wappen mle 1867 with vertical fixing slats. We understand that this model only lasted 3 years because in combat situation (franco-prussian 1870 War), the wappen came off too easily...We quickly return with the nut système in 1871
