A good spineless felt with a couple of questionable extra holes:

Not all had front visor trim, but it does appear that this one did (indicated by the tears in the felt). The holes are a curiosity.

Looks like the remains of an oil cloth liner not the usual leather. I have a filz in my collection with a black oil cloth liner.
