My collection of sea caps of the Soviet fleet

I love it! You have a whole fleet there...
much more is missing. it is especially difficult and very expensive to collect pre-war and wartime naval caps. There was a great variety of inscriptions on caps. Especially the name of ships and any military training schools. A lot has simply not survived to this day and can only be seen in photographs of sailors of that time.

Sergei,

One of my caps is of different construction, my feeling is it is older than the 1960s. It does not appear to have ever had the stiffener in the brim, and the lining is different. No markings that I can see. Any idea what it might be?

normal peakless cap 60-70s. It's just that the sailors themselves often altered their peakless caps according to the fashion of that time. hard wire could be removed for example.
