One is never enough! From the pictures I see it looks pretty good. Next thing you know you will have a shelf full! :!: :guns:

That is an excellent helmet a great beginning and much better than my first which was a beaten up Prussian M15 with red rot in the liner. The liner on your helme is in excellent condition. There certainly is not much wrong with that old beauty! Congratulations.

A great helmet to start with!
However, now you officially have the virus #-o ! You will Always want more, more, more :-" ...

A very nice helmet indeed. This mat, dull patina on the finish is often sought after by collectors.
Congratulations.

Not bad for a first helmet! congrats.
As it is a Bayer with convex scales, it could be a lot of things, artillery, cavalry, train or even kriegsministerium.(unless there’s a name tag or something written inside)
If all your helmets will be in this is the state , you’ll have a very nice collection.
Continue the good work. :thumb up:

Thats a nice helmet to start with :thumb up: like Adler said you now have the haube virus and believe me there is no cure you are doomed for the rest of your life :D .

We're all doomed :D

Hey! Very nice first helmet indeed. Just a little damage to the Reichs Cockade and that's not an issue at all. Yes, MUCH better than my first helmet with was indeed a damaged M15, but I was happy with it for $25 or what ever it was. :)
A shelf full will turn into a set of shelves, then a room, then the room will overflow into the Frau's area....

That is a 1914 pattern front plate. So it could also be infantry. Congratualtions. A very nice first helmet.
