My first reshaping of a Pickelhaube

I found this pickelhaube and other parts in a box of my German Militaria; I cannot remember when or from whom I got this O/R Pickelhaube. I figured I would use this pickelhaube to test the information and techniques Brian, Wojtek, Sandy, and others have offered.

As you can see the helmet was lopsided. I have managed to get it back in alignment.

One question was this Pickelhaube assigned to the 84 Infantry Regiment in the year1898 1st Battalion? And was it reassigned in 1910 to the 2nd Battalion of the 84th Infantry Regiment? Thanks for any information for folks on the forum.
