Reserve-Landwehr of Garde eagles, with Landwehrkreuz and without the Vaterland-Bandeau, are very rare, as there was no Guard Reserve Regiment (GRIR). Here, the plate is self-explanatory, as it's not a “gardist” but an Eisenbahn.

It's true that it's a bit “technical”. For the Leib Infanterie Regiment (115R), for the first or Leib/Garde-Grenadier-Regiment Grand-ducaux (100, 109, 119,123, ...) for the Pioniers regiments and other technical troops, for certain regiments of the Garde à pied (1,5 and GFusilierR) ...
the fittings were in maillechort (silver).
---The M91 chinstrap keys and slides for service and campaign are in nickel silver (silver).
---The M91 chinstrap scales for parade are brass (gold). Except for :
-1GzuF Regiment (Garde-Regiment zu Fuß).
-115 LIR Hessois. (Leib-Garde-Infanterie-Regiment).
-100 GR Saxon.

I bought this for a handful of peanuts at a garage sale in LA. Dismantled but complete. It turned up quite nice after I put it back together. IDed to Kraftfahr Battalion (motor vehicle drivers, usually pictured wearing leather jackets and caps with goggles).
