At least if i seen it correct

Great helmet. Here is another helmet with the spike plate on the outside - has anyone figured out if on some of these that is the way it is to be (or not to be)?

Not yet have come up with a plousible explanation for it but in my opnion ,those cardboard or papier mache helmets are far to weak to not have the counterdisc on the inside . the splitpins can rip out so easely ,the counterdisc is there to prevent this in the first place . when they where assembeled some of them where a sleep i guess
