Here is a nice early pre massproduction M1916 from Siemens & Halske A.G. in size 60. Hard to imagine that the firm Siemens went from helmets to dishwashers. The helmet seems to have suffered some shrapnel damage.

Rare maker and 60 is the smallest size which is rare as well. Usually size 60 and size 68 are highly sought after.

This will be my first size 60
, this one was hanging in a shop at Verdun, I was very lucky to get it for a normal standard helmet price.

Coming from a shop in Verdun is very cool and really adds a lot
Had a chance to visit Verdun years ago and spent the day dragging my wife around the battlefield, she still takes about it today. Proof it has a power over even people with no interest Military history. I loved every minute of our stay and was moved to tears more then once I'm not ashamed to admit.
