My „Oldenburg Collection“ M/15 ODR 19

Dear Community,
now follows from my Oldenburg collection a field gray exhibit, which I would like to present to you!

This is an M/15 from the Oldenburg Dragoon Regiment No. 19.
I was able to purchase the helmet personally in 1992 at an auction in Hamburg (Hanseatisches Auktionshaus) after a tough bidding war.
So it´s been in my collection for 31 years now….

I don´t think I need to explain the helmet further in words, the photos speak for themselves!
It is not chamber stamped, but a shadowy stamp (manufacturer) can be seen in the helmet.

Congrats Frank. This one is a top M15 cavalry helmet. I never been able to buy one of these. The DR19 eludes me.

That's a Wurttemberg kokarde. Oldenburg should be blue on the outside, red ring and blue on the inside.

Nice helmet. The kokarde, if the same, looks more blue when on the helmet.

The Kokarde is the same, apparently it was poorly photographed. In nature it has a nice clear blue, as can be seen on the helmet!
