My oldest helmet

I showed this years ago on forum, but think we lost the pictures with the whole Photobucket debacle.

Prussian M1842 to Reserve.

This helmet is huge standing 15 inches tall.

Kokarden is part leather.

Marvelous. Very few people have an M1842 and yours is in superb condition. Placing one of these on a mannequin seems almost bizarre it is so tall. Nicely done James.
