My only “regular” pickelhaube

If you have seen my own threads, you know my biggest collecting focus is on ersatz pickelhauben. However, I need to give a shoutout to my only leather one from Württemberg. It’s one of my best conditioned I personally own.



I’m not 100% sure on the originality of the chinstrap and cockades, but it is all complete

No regimental markings to be see, but it has the name Hipp on the rear visor


The Makers marking is more solid than the photo shows


There is a 1 here in the inside, which I would assume is a garniture grade?

These indentations on the rear visor indicate a field cover was on for a long time

The last pic I want to post was a personal note from the seller. It was very nice touch and I decided to keep this with the pickelhaube. I did make one more purchase from them
