Bee's aren really not a problem, wasps are though..
I had a problem with a nest of wasps between my walls.. eridicated it all, but it took me a year.
Damned wasps had a nest between my walls, they irritated me for a year. Now they are gone, fortunately.
Not that i used environmental accepted uses though. But no wasp will ever find a place here. Treue um treue.

I live in France, Old Europe, very close to the Swiss Border, In the Area of Annecy in the French Alps.

nice view , I adore the mountains both in summer and winter, walking, biking and skiing ,
You're lucky indeed to live there. My favorite place in france are the Queyras and le parc national des ecrins.
And in spring we always spend a week in the Luberon (next week depart)
