Hello,I want to show you all my small collection.It's not of the high quality as I see from other users here,but I am on the way.Some kokarden are replica,chinstraps.

Thanks,it's not nearly as nice a collection as your's Adler,I first saw it,or parts of it at our dutch WW1 forum,wich I followed since it first appeared,but never joined. Also thanks to you Westfront,I saw your excellent Demag grabendolch,almost bought one that was similar,but didn't have enough cash on me,as I just bought my M95 Württemberg...if you bought it from Sander at Treasurehunt you beat me to it, :thumb up:

Is it marked a regiment ?

Thanks again,and Steve,the grenadier isn't marked to a regiment,I only found a 28 impressed in it,and a soldiers name with a date,not even a makers mark..As for the displaying of my collection,I like the old-fashioned way of doing so.Like in the older museums did,with all kinds of period things alongside. Not like the clinical way of displaying you see most now..in museums I mean. :thumb up:

I really like the Grenadiers 1 thru 12 .
I have tried to get enlisted Grenadiers to all 12 of the regiments .
I have G R 1 ; G R 4 ; G R 7 ; G R 8 and G R 9
what I am missing is some of what I call the " Line Regiments "
of the Prussian Grenadiers .
From memory I think that I have G R 2 ; G R 6 and G R 12 .
I have one that is also like yours not with Kammer issue stamp
but nice so I bought it a few years ago.
I just do not see them anymore .
Yours is a nice helmet

Steve, I saw your affection with Grenadiers in other topic's here on the forum,I like your collection,a lot......For me this was the only example I saw without those Kammer stamps,had my doubts,but I liked it so much I bought it.When I find the time this week I will be posting pictures of it.Have a nice evening,Coert.

I have posted G R 1 up to L G R 8
I took a break
I will do C G R 9 next
I am waiting on an enlisted Waffenrock from C G R 9
that is on the way
after that I will finish up with G R 10 ; G R 11 and G R 12
Grenadier helmets are ones that I will except with extra holes
as long if they look and feel correct .
We know that each regiment changed from the old FWR plate
to the new wide -winged eagle.
I am sure that they did not do away with the old helmet
and start over .
