Mystery Collar

Good evening gentlemen,

A friend of mine recently acquired this collar from an imperial uniform but I am at a loss for what it would belong to, I am guessing political or maybe pioneer or medical given the color combination of black, red piping and silver tabs? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks, I appreciate the likes as well as the comment. The embroidery is beautiful and I'm very happy to have it. The tailor was Christian Schwarz v Sohn who had shops in Munich v Bayreuth and where I believe tailors to the Royals as well. mfg John
