Need help on this pickelhaube

Grenadier reg 1,2, 3 and 6 had the old Grenadier eagle but this is the new eagle so I am lost.

Patina on the helmet looks uniform unless the kugel is added.

I don't know of any correct reason that a Grenadier Officers helmet should have an artillery ball on it's top .
My thought is that a change was made some years ago by a collector who did not know the difference .
If the ball can be unscrewed from the base , then change it for a spike top .
If it will not unscrew , then you need to change the whole base
All G R 1 to 12 took a parade bush
It is a line Grenadier
regts 2 ; 3 ; 5 ; 6 ; 10 ; 11 ; or 12

Another thought is that it could be a Garde Artillery
If the Garde plate would fit
but if you see nothing to show that there
was not another plate at another time
and we know that there are NO extra holes

A nice Vulcan fibre helmet Amy. If this were mine I would put an infantry officer spike on it and call it complete! 😊 Just my opinion.
