Hello together,
I got this Portepee, it was described as an imperial german Officer-Portepee. Other ones were allways silver but this seems to be golden. Don‘t know if a change of the color could happen in 100 years or if it is original.
Can anybody identify it definitely? I want to use it for an Officer Lionheadsabre of a Dragoon-Reg. (around 1900) and it should be plausible.
