There have been many occasions in my life where I have been thankful that I was forced to learn French in High School here in Canada

After HS my learning of French involved reading the French on cereal boxes and other grocery labels but I did make progress!
Regarding the Wurttemberg helmet which I recommended buying and the discussion here, I believe that we are also dealing with the "geographic factor" of where the collector lives. If I was European then obviously, there should be far more helmets available for sale and I could hold out for a "complete one". I do not have this luxury in Canada.....there is no town/village here where FR 122 fought so that I can pick up a helmet locally

and save money. After 40+ years of collecting, I have one M15 Wurttemberg helmet and an M95 marked to JR 126, dated 1896. Consequently, I would buy this FR 122 helmet in "a New York minute"....Very Quickly!
