Good afternoon, I'm still trying to get to know more about this world of pickelhaube and acquire one, but given its price it is better to consult with people who understand the subject. I have seen this Bavarian Pickelhaube and I would like you to give me your opinion. I know that the kocarden are missing and the emblem is loose. I don't know if the chin strap is original. If you can answer these questions, I would appreciate it. I don't know if you are used to talking about prices in this forum, I am new. If you do, I would appreciate some guidance on what would be a correct price for it.

The pickelhaube you posted seems to be an assembly of inconsistent parts.
The circular base of spike, the screws, the rear spine and the metal profile of the visor are in sheet iron mod. 1915, while the bavarian emblem an the spike are parts of a M1895 in brass.
Being your first helmet, if I am not mistaken, I would advise you to leave it. You would regret it anyway if you bought it.
Better to wait for a helmet in order and with all the contemporary parts.
