New Article „Development of the chin scales and chinstraps of the Pickelhauben“

Dear fellow collectors,
I‘m pleased to present the results of my latest research on the development of Pickelhauben chin scales and chinstraps on my website.

As they weren’t available earlier, the chin scale widths before 1891/1895 are based on measurements of multiple helmets. Afterwards the values were taken from the various clothing regulations. As usual, the article is available in German and English and can be downloaded as a PDF in the download area.
Furthermore, I have updated my - Overview table for Pickelhaube dimensions - and added lines with information about the chin scales and chinstraps of the different helmet types.
