Hey all, I just got the English copy of
The German Infantry 1871 - 1914 by Ulrich Herr and Jens Nguyen. It is a two book set that describes everything possible for the Imperial Dunkelblau Infantry. The book has a generic opening, then is broken up by state -- from Prussia to Bavaria to Mecklenburg-Schwerin its all here!
I really recommend this book. If you have the German Calvary or The German Army in the First World War, you will love this book.
