New collection

Anyone have any ideas about prices for these. They are all from a newly acquired collection of my father. Most of the helmets and the visor caps were brought/sent back from Germany by his 3 older brothers.

Hello,

Being that the headgear you've shown in the link is all 3rd Reich, your best bet would be to ask the same question and post the same link on the wehrmacht-awards.com/forums under the "John Burnett Helmet Forum" sub-category with the link here: http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=0e264b09ac8dfddfdb4cf6641311dda6&f=26" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You'll need to register there, and after doing so, you can make a posting and place your same link there in order to ask for pricing assistance.

Best Regards,

Alan

You only have 1 helmet in there which is WW1. The rest is 3rd Reich-WW2 era.

I agree with Alan but beware, if genuine--3rd Reich militaria is faked alot and well--some of your items could be worth a fortune, especially the SS caps. The SS helmet decals look fishy but the caps look good... but I'm not an expert and as I said, there's too many great 3rd Reich fakes on the market, some using genuine but cheaper (Wehrmacht or DDR) material that they would 'upgrade' to SS.

Here's one of the more expensive sites that carries genuine items to give you an idea of current prices: http://www.germanmilitaria.com/WaffenSS/02Headgear.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks for the pointers, I also have 4 Picklehaube's as well which I havent photographed yet. Just going through everything slowly as there is so much. Will post pics soon.
