New Ersatz Baden

Bought this the other day, it was squashed so I have put a hat reshaped in doesnt show any Ill effects. No regimental markings and as often happens the wrong cockades great big Currasier helmet cockades instead . Rob

Congratulations Rob,
Looks very nice; unfortunate that the Kokarden are incorrect, but a bonus that they are Kurassier Kokarden as I have the impression that Kurassier Kokarden are much rarer :)

If they are correct Kurassiere enlisted kokards
no question that you will come out ahead
you can replace them with the correct size

Thanks I didn’t even notice . I saw it had a chinstrap and cockades so bought it (buy it now eBay) sadly one end of the chinstrap has been knotted on but I don’t have many Badens so I’m happy . Bob
