Hello,
I am new to pickelhauben. I currently have a collection of WW2 stahlhelms, K98ks, P08s, P38s, PPs, PPKs, medals, and militaria. I plan to first acquire a Prussian M1915 EM pickelhaube as my grandfather was from East Prussia and was in an East Prussian regiment. I don't know what regiment. I look forward to collecting pickelhauben and learning from the members.

I am also new to this forum and I my great grandfather started in an East Prussia unit along with his brother. My Great Grandfather was in: 33rd Fusilier Regiment "Graf Roon" (East Prussian) (Füsilier-Regiment Graf Roon (Ostpreuß.) Nr. 33). His name was Johann M. Kacmarzik and served in this regiment from 1910-1912 then served in Reserve Infantry Regiment 109 throughout the war. His older brother, Mathias Kacmarzik (died) , was a Unteroffizier in Infanterie-Regiment von Grolmann (1. Posensches) Nr. 18, which was also raised in East Prussia.
