Hi All
I have been interested in Pickelhauben for many years, and started
collecting about 10 years ago, Inspired by my great friend Graham Maddocks, sadly no longer with us.
I have eight pickels/four uberzug's one with a bit of a tale to tell!!
My spelling is awfull so bare with me-it is great to be among my pickelhaube pals
Cheers Stu (Das158er)

Stu,

Welcome to the forum! I would love to see your helmets and hear your tale! Don't worry about spelling you join the great majority of us.

Hey Stu,
It is kinda mean to tell us you have toys and then not show photos:) If you need help posting photos, just ask, we have a thread that explains it under forum help (I think). welcome, it is nice to have real members again, now that the spam problem has been taken care of.

Hi Gus
Thanks for posting for me,I am getting the hang of things bit by bit.
OHH Gus whats that smell :D
Cheers Das158er-Stu

Stu, The 'trick' is to post helmets one at a time so everyone thinks you are scoring a great helmet each month, and we can salivate all over them. I'm sure everyone, myself especially, look forward to you posting each of those one at a time, with a bunch of photos.

Bring it on......... :brave:

Hi Tony+Kaiser
My plan is to swap the fittings around on each helmet to make it look like I have a huge collection.
Then I will ask you and Kaiser to marry me so I can spend the rest of my life polishing your pickelhaubes- :love3:
I will only kiss Kaiser though!!!
Cheers Stu

Hey Stu,
Welcome to the nut house, I can see that you are not a normal person, first, I really like the idea fo switching the bits on your helmets, and that may be a great way to have a quiz for the rest of the forum (find the one that does not fit). I was very concerned when you said you wanted to marry Tony, but if you will only kiss Kaiser, then you should be OK. As far as the smell? Well you need to be careful, as Pooh is a Canadian Icon, and many of the members of this forum claim to be Canadian (although some claim that they do not speak Canadian).

Stu : You seem to have found a good home here with the rest of us crazies. As for you Gusmeister, I know that you have always secretly wanted to be a Canuck !! Your preoccupation with our multi coloured Canuck bucks, the Mounties and now Winnie P. from Winnipeg !! Alas, if you could only refrain from trying to bring grenades accross our border perhaps we could grant you honourary Canuck status !! Brian

Hey Brian,
If the customs guys were upset with the one grenade that I had, imagine how upset they would be if I tried to move up there with my popguns. I lost interest in becoming Canadian when the Canadians allowed Russia to claim the north pole, next Christmas, I expect that Santa will be wearing red.
