Guys,

If you are interested in the Russian Civil War, this looks really good!

For the entire Communist era in Russia, Admiral Kolchak was a villain who rated right up there with Adolf Hitler, Rasputin and Kerensky. Now he is being re-cast as a Russian hero who defied the Bolsheviks and represented all that was good about old Russia.

The movie looks fantastic, I just hope it gets released in the Western World.

And, there is even a little epic scale Russian versus Swede action here

Yes, I'd seen the Admiral Kolchak preview before somewhere, it looks extremely interesting.

Enjoyed the other film you posted too!

There are a few online dealers that usually carry these international DVDs. I also buy a few DVDs every year at SOS.

I'm finally watching some of the movies from last year, which included The Yamato (a Japanese version of the last days of the WWII battleship).

I bought With Fire and Sword about the Poles vs. Russians a few years back as well. That looked amazing.

I bought this movie from RussianDVDs.com and I have to say it is a very impressive film. More of a love story in many ways, but it is enjoyable yet at times brutal to watch.

Kolchak is neither hero nor villain in this film.
