I recently ran into a helmet collection and bought several picklehauben. I decided to keep 2 of them and begin collecting imperial.
For years I have collected SS and have some rare and valuable items but the thrill is gone, like BB King would say. I am tired of knowing more about reproductions than originals. The regalement of the imperial versus the brutishness of the 3rd Reich has become a final determining factor.
I am a member of WAForum and know for a fact that the forums can save huge amounts of cash and increase my learning curve by thousands of points...
I just ordered the the spiked helmets book by Trawnik as per instructions from Tony Schnurr.
If I had two hauben to get opinions about would I upload here?
