Hello Forum Members,

Continuing to showcase the second quarter, 2024 latest acquisitions to my British Army headdress collection are my newest additions to my collection of home service helmet plates. All of the infantry (star plates) are Victorian officers helmet plates and the artillery home service helmet plates, also all Victorian are a combination of officer and other-ranks helmet plates. I hope you enjoy the posted images and I look forward to your feedback on these newest helmet plates to my collection,

OFFICER'S HOME SERVICE HELMET PLATE, 2nd VOLUNTEER BATTALION, ROYAL WARWICKSHIRE REGIMENT 1882-1901





OFFICER'S HOME SERVICE HELMET PLATE, 1st MIDLOTHIAN COAST ARTILLERY VOLUNTEERS, 1878-1888, "Coast" was removed from the title in 1888






OFFICER'S HOME SERVICE HELMET PLATE, THE ROYAL BERKSHIRE REGIMENT. 1891-1901, "Royal" was added to the title in 1891.





OFFICER'S HOME SERVICE HELMET PLATE. 1st VOLUNTEER BATTALION, THE SUFFOLK REGIMENT, 1881-1899, two tower castle worn until 1899.






OTHER-RANKS HOME SERVICE HELMET PLATE, 1st LANARKSHIRE ARTILLERY VOLUNTEERS, 1878-1900

... thank you for looking at these plates... collecting these sorts of helmet plates is a truly enjoyable experience... there are hundreds of different plates to be researched and found, so the variety to be had is almost, it seems, limitless!!! Again, thanks for your very enthusiastic comments!!!
