Officer & NCO Pickelhaubes?

Received these from my grandpa after he passed. Told they were a set of NCO & Officer Pickelhaube.

From my research, it looks like a Reuss Officers Haube.

Any help with info and prices is greatly appreciated!

Hello and welcome to the forum!

The first helmet you show in your photos on the left side view was worn by a Prussian Guard Regiment. It is for a One Year Volunteer or a possible non-commissioned officer helmet. It is not a helmet from Reuss.

The second helmet that you show on the far right view of your photos posted here is a Model 1915 Prussian enlisted man's helmet. It appears that part of the leather liner is missing.

Can you possibly show views of all 4-sides of each helmet, and please show the entire view of the helmet in each of your photos?

For example, a full left side view, a full right side view, and a full back of the helmet view? Please make certain to show the entire view of the helmet in each photo, and do not crop off the top part of the spike, or negect to show the full underside of the visors on each helmet. It is important to see the full views in order to assess the condition of each helmet.

The Prussian Garde helmet was privately purchased originally and has some officer characteristics. The liner is officer, as is the spike and parts of the helmet plate. The spike has the officer "pearl ring" around the neck and the plate eagle has a pierced crown on the eagle's head. The Garde star is private purchase but lacks the enamelled centre ring of a true officer plate. So what you have here is a privately purchased officer style helmet which could have been worn by a senior NCO, a One Year Volunteer or an officer aspirant...a soldier in training to achieve officer rank. The piece does have M91 side posts on it for either flat scaled chin scales or a simple leather chin strap. The Prussian M15 is the most common of all pickelhauben and unfortunately part of it's liner is missing. Welcome to the forum.

I would like help to determine what I should do with these and whether or not there is a collectors value.
