A helmet which I found in an attic of chatellerault.
it has surely brought back by a "poilu" in 1916. There are tracks of silver on all the metal parts.
What is surprising, it is that the star of the plate is a extra-model datable of 1910.
I do not see how an officer of this regiment would have gone to war with such a star.
The inside is not in good condition but it is of the silk.
The spike had disappears, I searched it but nothing.
