Otto, I know you like different and ancient items. Here is my Pig-Faced Basonet. Actual age ? But a Victorian copy at the least and a highly coveted item. Corky

I love it. In the XIX century was common the use of armors and helmets, as well as swords and weapons, in the decoration of great houses and mansions. A very big variety of artisans and gunsmiths(?)masters , made wonderful copies, that were used for such end. Some were so perfect, that for a long time, already in the XX century, they were negotiated as time items.
By photo, is dificult to made a good expertise(?)dificult to say the real age.
