Old Wurttemburg Regiment??

Hi Chaps,

Can anyone help us to confirm the identity of our latest pickelhaube find please?

On the rear visor it is ink stamped "III.R" and "BAXIII 1910"

I've checked it over thoroughly with infra red and these are the only markings.

I think it could be the 3rd Wurttemburg Regt., "Old Wurttemburg Regiment" (later 121st I.R.) of XIII Armee Korps?

It also has the remains of a personal name patch on the liner which I can just make out "Wurtt" and the wappen holes are 65mm between centres.

Ian there is a tutorial on the site which leads you through a step by step way to post pictures. Your first move is to join a site which will host your pictures. This should be for free. I use Photobucket but there are others. The forum itself can not host picture because it uses up too much space.
