Continuing on with my monthly postings from my humble collection, here is the Oldenburg Dragon officer helme pictured in the forum logo. I bought this helmet from a local dealer back in the late 1980s. There is a size label on the inside top of the helmet which is inked in as 56. The spike top also unscrews which is proper for this Regt and the chin scale bosses are white metal. You will note, that the male chin scale fastener has been crudely replaced with a piece of copper wire. I have made repros of these in the past for others and really should do so for this helme. Enjoy.
