Thanks Ladies and gents , :)

Yes Bruno , the liner is of the unusual kind ,maybe this manufacturer also made private purchase helmets ,but the shape of the helmet is a typical 95.

Hi Gents,

I think I do not agree with the main opinion about this helmet :-?

If I see no problem with the Wappen, I do for the whole helmet combination.
I am thinking that this helmet was worn by a OYV of the 9/27, as shown on the name tag which is matching the rear visor other stamps (9C and E for Einjähriger Freiwilliger).
To me, the OJR91 stamp is absolutely fake, too big, but it´s only my humble opinion :oops:

Further, I did not see any relation between the JR27 (Magdeburg) and the OJR91 (Oldenburg) :cry:

My conclusion: this helmet of the JR27 has been pimped to an OJR91...

Interesting view Philippe ,
The stamp looks real to me, I have seen many sizes of stams ,and I don’t think a faker would think of putting the O in front ,but of course you never know for sure.
There has been another name tag under this one , but yes it also has a 9 in it like the stamp in the neck.

I agree with Felipe. What is the regimental marking doing on this helmet?

There are a lot of anomalies in the pickelhaube world;
Just found out that "Age of Kings" has sold a NCO with the same stamp .

Well isn't that different ! I wonder if there was some sort of purchase in the state? Thank you for pointing this out.

Hi Ed,

I like the stamp of the AOK helmet and the place where it is stamped (in the shell and not on the rear visor) much more for this very particular unit!

:wink:
