That sword knot is for mounted troops, 1st squadron(white crown) which matches the markings on the sword. Very nice.

Thank you, this one came up on the grenadier militaria auction site with a bavarian and saxon one. Luckily for my bank account I don't have any cavalry items from those states so I didn't pursue them.
