Hi Gary:

I found it interesting the seller went to the trouble of removing the Knopf 91 for the diagrammatic view. Why stop there? Why not also remove the Kugel base?

Perhaps we are really looking at the helmet before it was assembled.

In any event, I agree with you, a repro.
