Opinions about officer's cuirassier helmet?

Dear friends,
I would like to hear your thoughts on an officer's cuirassier helmet for sale on eBay:

I would say it’s a reproduction, because if the following reasons:
  • the visor trims are full of dents and look poorly made,
  • the chinscales look to thin for a cavalry helmet,
  • the cloverleafes are missing the details and poorly made,
  • the liner looks fake and doesn’t fit,
  • the sheet metal of the helmet shell looks too new from the inside,
  • the bowed square nuts look wrong and are incorrect for an officer's M1889,
  • the underside of the front visor looks painted green instead of being covered with green leather.
What do you think? Am I judging the helmet too critically?

I saw that one for sale on ebay.de too today.
For me, the cloverleaves give it away, the detailing of it, is way too poor.
The other things you mention to, by the way.

I saw it today as well. The first look, which is look from far got me excited. The more I look, the more I get disappointed lol

Seller did not do close up shots for a reason.

I agree with Sandy and Coert.

I have kept the item in my watch list to see how crazy it can go.
