Wow is all I can say.

My guess is that an original helmet with an original C/S will increase the value of the helmet about $100 or so.

Vintage - Overall good condition, can barely see the rust - has scuffs, paint chips, and scratches as well as several holes including a crack on top of the helmet

$293 is a lot of money for a piece of leather. I paid $125 for a complete M15 chinstrap.

Sometimes you need to be lucky and I always buy my haube parts on the French ebay site to circumvent ridiculously high custom fees.
