I've had this in storage for quite a while and a thread in another (Gunboards) forum lled me back here.
My apologies for the quality of the photo. It was a quick shot. But, as you can see there it is! Has some definite issues. Missing the lion to the rear, chinstrap and tails..., also if I recall correctly there was (forget the term) something that came off the top in the front.
However, I have not seen another in any condition. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice or suggestions for restoration, preservation, etc. Or, just leave as is.
These soft headgear examples are not my specialty!
