"Ottoman" Helmet

Milestone Auctions claims this is an Ottoman helmet. Weren't these just for the German military?

Peter,
I believe you are correct. I’ve seen photos of German freicorps units with that style helmet. The Ottoman helmet was a different design as in this photo

No I think the Turks defiantly wore the helms with the cut brims.
Some left over stock were used post war by the Freicorps.
