Description: Germany - Deutsches Reich - M1895 trooper Busby (Pelzmütze) of the "Magdeburgisches Husaren-Regt. Nr.10" (Stendal) IV Armee Korps. - 1897-1915.

Looks ok to me. Three different shades of red. Poppy; crimson and madder.
Is there a unit mark? Apart from the BA white mark?
-no idea/reference price now. My Missus will know what we [she...] payed years ago......Vize Eigentums.

I paid 1750 euros for one like this ( with fangschnur and colpack) to the late Karel van boschaette, some 15 years ago, that was a reasonable price then, don’t know the price nowadays
