Hello,
I stumbled onto something early this morning on how to at least temporarily fix being able to view many of the photos hosted by photobucket on this fine forum. It seems to work for me on a great majority of the threads I have checked this morning, and I'm pretty excited about it, needless to say.
Here's the important information, which I stumbled onto at the wehrmacht-awards.com website, under their "Collector Community Forum" area:
Their member FrenchVolunteer (Vince) posted the following:
"Hi,
it seemed that an 18-year old bloke wrote a code to view and save Photobucket pics from threads !

He goes on to say the following:
"the info i gave is only a trick to save Photobucket pictures/topics on the net.A lot of topics in the WAF are flooded with "dead pictures" from Photobucket.
If we can save a few, it will be great."
I hope this helps with many of the old threads with photobucket hosted images. Some don't work, namely ones by Brian, and some older ones by Charles that I've checked on this morning. Maybe they've taken their photos off the old photobucket website, I'm not sure, only guessing, since they are hosting photos on a new service.
Needless to say, I need to get off my rear end and start posting again on here, using one of the new photo hosting services that Brian, James, Charles, and several of you other members have had success utilizing on here. I look forward to being actively involved once again on here with such a fine group that we have here!
