Good God Gus....you call that a storm??? You can still see 100m down the road, you can even see the side of the road AND yer drivin on bare pavement! You come north boy and I'll show you where the real storms are!! I'll introduce ya to a some cool things called "white knuckle drivin", "the whiteout" and "black ice" ha ha! Good pics of the SOS though. Love those "red shirts"...some sort of new Italian influence perhaps?? Lovely ladies!! Ciao bambini!

Hey Brian,
I think you missed the caption on that photo, it was listed as good road (although there was a typo and it says goos road). We do not bother taking a photo when you can not see the road, how many photos of the rear half of the hood do you want to see. Here is a photo going over Monarch pass in Colorado a few days ago, this was one of the moments when you could see the road and the car in front of us. I looked at a highway camera just now, and it is a really pretty view just to the left in this photo, but we missed it.

This is the kind of roads we had in Kansas, it seemed we were always driving into the sun.

We stopped at the biggest hand dug well just for Joe, but it was closed and they had put a building over it.

You must have taken the scenic route to go through Monarch Pass. Should have let me know, I would have bought you a cup of coffee in Pueblo or Colorado Springs

Hey Keith,
I thought about you as we motored through, I lost all my contact information when my computer died a few weeks ago. If it had not been for an appointment that we had to get home for, we would have lingered on your side of the continent long enough to make contact. I think we will have to take that route again to SOS in the future, as it was a nice drive, and I really would like to see the view from the pass, even though I have a fear of heights.

Ok Guster......thats more like it. I recognise those driving conditions! Cardinals (birds) have come back to Barrie so Spring is not too far away here in the Great White North. I wonder if you could play hockey in that German armour of yours?

I doubt it, I had a hand i a cast years ago, and I asked the doctor when he removed it if I would be able to play the piano, he said I would be able. I was very excited but when I got home, I found out that the doctor was wrong, I still could not play the piano. So I do not see how wearing the armor would make me able to play hockey:)

Many thanks to all of the Pickelhaubes.com folks from your friends at the OVMS! The fact that you all make this an event within an event is just fantastic. Just wait until we release our SOS promo video. Chris A. recognized the Hollywood star power in Mr. Gus!! We really do appreciate the great support that you all give to the show - it has not gone unnoticed.

Oh god, I thought that whole thing would be forgotten. The fact is, SOS is the event of the year, it is great to get a chance to see people in person that we communicate with through the webernet the rest of the time. It is a great family event too.
Best
