Is one of a Garde Regiment, any comments would be most welcome.

the other one is a group of wurtemburg soldiers
i cant make out witch number is on ther schoulders
the first one is a great one the all wear felt garde helmets
nice find these foto's

The upper photo shows members from Queen Augusta Guard Grenadier Regiment number 4. Nice photograph.

The Württemberg regiment is identified on the back of the postcard as I.R. No. 127 from Ulm.

Lots of Wurtt NCO's in your lower pic Derek, I count at least 8 with the tresse on their collars and 4 of those 8 also have the extra tresse on their cuffs. The dapper smiling little NCO in the middle is also the senior NCO with portepee and sword. Four have marksman cords and 6 have iron cross? ribbons. Those with fold down collars can not be ID'd as to rank. Very nice!
