Hi to eveyone.....
It's been a long time since I posted my first pickelhaube .... and meanwhile I spent a lot of time reading as much as possible trying to learn from your very interesting posts ......
A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to put my second pickelhaube in the collection ....
We are talking about a 1915, troop, Saxony, certainly not very rare but I was struck by the conditions that I consider really good ...
On the back flap, if I read correctly, there is the BA XII stamp and that if I am not mistaken it refers to the Bekleidungsamt XII of Dresden ...
For the rest everything should be in order but, as always, any opinions are welcome.......
Here we are with pics, and thanks for your time .....
All my best from Turin
Giorgio

That's a very original Saxon M15. And in a wonderful shape, looks perfect after all those years!
Congratulations Giorgio.

Regards, Coert.

Giorgio,
Well done; thank you for sharing your excellent photos and this amazingly well-preserved Saxon Pickelhaube.
Best regards,
John

Congratz that's a nice one, Giorgio, in a superbe condition.
I have a Saxon M15 myself but missing the rosettes.
Love these 'Classic Saxons'.

Bregrds,
Marty

There’s a round edge Reich’s kokarde on ebay France just now and Kpemig has a number of Saxon state kokarden.

Thanks Chinstrap for yr info and efforts, much appreciated. Checked Kpemig and two Korkarden would fit.
Prefer those Korkarden as Giorgio's Pickelhaube, as they're so nice. I do realize it will be wishfull thinking, but who knows...

Bregards,

Marty
