Was the fabric originally glued or stiched on the shell? It seems to be glued, but I see also stiches. And how did you attach it?

I reproduced everything according to the original.The first layer was made from Zontag Papier advertising newspaper.The second layer was made from sheep's wool.I glued both layers together point-bonded.Only the edge of the liner material was glued.The advantage of this item was that I did not have to add contemporary material.This brown mark on the fabric is the residue of the original glue.The fabric was only glued to the edge.It was not sewn on with a thread.Thank you Sandy for your opinion.
