I thought those two Regiments carried gilt Rosettes not Neusilber Philippe?

Hilsenbeck is showing in his book, page 93, an officer Garde helmet of those two units. Rosettes are Neusilber, Tony.

Accordingly to Larcade, Tome I page 14: "Garde Füsilier Regiment is wearing exact the same helmet as the 1. Garde zu Fuß Regiment, with two differences. No fluted spike for officers and Haarbusch is black for all the three bataillons."
Further, same book, page 32, Larcade wrote: "the 5. Garde Regiment zu Fuß is wearing the same helmet as the Garde Füsilier Regiment but with white Haarbusch at the I and II Bataillon and black at the III Bataillon".

And of course, page 11: "1. Garde Regiment zu Fuß is wearing a helmet with Neusilber fittings. Only the chinscales are brass. Rosettes ar Neusilber, officer spike is fluted"

It looks very nice too :thumb up: Important are the fixations of the wappen in the shell and of the spike base. Only to be seen if you are able to open and push slightly and carefully the liner to both sides.
